Capital University is pleased to announce its President's List honorees for the Spring 2018 semester.

To be eligible for the President's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Miami University's Project Dragonfly has admitted a new cohort of students to its global master's degree, the Global Field Program (GFP). These graduate students, who live throughout the United States and abroad, combine collaborative work in Dragonfly's web-based learning communities with work at conservation sites in Africa, Australia, Asia and the Americas.

(Cincinnati, OH)--Mount St. Joseph University, a member of HCAC (Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference), announced that several student-athletes have been named to the Tom Bohlsen Academic All-HCAC list. In order to be selected for this honor, students must be varsity athletes and have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA. The Academic All-HCAC Award is named after the HCAC's first commissioner, Tom Bohlsen, who served from 1998 to 2008.

The University of Findlay's Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble recently performed "Birth of a Nation" for their annual spring concert.

Miami University Regionals recognize 35 students for their exemplary service to the community. Students achieve Service Honor Roll by successful completion of service hours to a local non-profit organization during an academic semester. Service Honor Roll recipients fall into the following categories: Bronze: 25 - 49 hours of community service, Silver: 50 - 74 hours of community service, Gold: 75-99 hours of community service and Platinum: 100+ hours of community service.

Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize students who were on the Dean's List during the Spring 2018 semester.

Students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the 2018 Juried Student Art and Design Exhibition. Any UF student was eligible to enter artwork for consideration. Categories included painting, drawing and mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, design, digital photography, film photography and visual communication.

The University of Findlay Jazz Ensemble recently performed "Jazz - Where You Least Expect It!" for the annual spring concert in Winebrenner Theological Seminary's TLB Auditorium.

Over 60 students participated in the 17th Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Cole Porter's classic musical "Anything Goes" was given new life by director James Beaudry and the enthusiastic cast and crew of this positively playful production. When nightclub singer-turned-evangelist Reno Sweeney boards the S.S. American with her colorful cohorts, it's anything but smooth sailing. Mayhem and mischief ensue as the stage comes alive with star-crossed lovers, mistaken identities and good old-fashioned Broadway fun.

Five Miami University Regionals students have earned the 2017 President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for their community service work. The PVSA recognizes individuals who have contributed a certain number of hours to the community through service over a 12-month period. The award was created as a way to honor those who are involved and who inspire others to become active in their communities. Levels include bronze, silver, gold and the highest honor, the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for those who contribute more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 2,900 students for excellence in academics on the Fall 2017 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Cedarville University Student Achieves Dean's Honor List

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
